We asked, and you answered! Every Wednesday, the It’s Time Instagram has been asking followers to write-in their cravings to receive a specialized Wilmington, Delaware restaurant recommendation. Here’s what you’ve been craving:

Seafood

@peterpkap was craving oysters, and we recommended Trolley Square Oyster House. Their classic raw bar has fresh oysters from the East AND West Coasts daily! Enjoy your fresh oysters in this casual atmosphere, which boasts live entertainment. Wednesdays are Oyster Nights!

@nicole.alissa was craving scallops, so we recommended the pan-seared scallops from Banks’ Seafood Kitchen! They are served with sundried tomato-chickpea hummus, English peas, curried parsnip, and fennel salad. Banks’ hosts everything from lunch to late-night on the Riverfront.

@ameliorated was craving Oysters Rockefeller, and we recommended the version made by Big Fish Grill – Wilmington. They have a raw bar and beautiful Riverfront views to add to your dining experience!

Italian

@ejfin2 told us that they were craving authentic Italian, so we recommended Ristorante Attilio! Open for more than 30 years, Ristorante Attilio serves handmade Italian dishes with fresh ingredients. They have a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere, expanding their menu to include gluten-free options so everyone can enjoy!

Indian

@brittanyanncool was craving samosas, so we recommended she get them from India Palace in Delaware. Specializing in Mughalai and Tandoori cuisine, all of their dishes start at a mild baseline–but you can crank it up to authentically hot if you’re feeling fiery!

Asian

@jessprocak was craving sushi, and Mikimoto’s was our recommendation! An upbeat atmosphere with a modern Asian menu, Mikimoto’s has been voted best sushi and Japanese in Delaware consistently since 2016!

@saf5001 craved chinese food, and we recommended Evergreen Restaurant, a classic Chinese takeout restaurant with great reviews. Their shrimp lo mein is very popular!

@smashtwizzler wrote to us that they were craving Pad Thai, our suggestion was The Bangkok House Thai Restaurant. Providing authentic Thai cuisine since 1988, their Thai iced tea and coconut ice cream are made from scratch on site! However, we received a DM from @jodiewaldron who countered with her recommendation to get Pad Thai from Southeast Kitchen. They do takeout only, but have a broader range of cuisine including Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese, and more! Just goes to show that there is more than one place in Wilmington to get great Pad Thai!

Hog fries from Farmer and the Cow
Comfort

@gemini_maris was craving loaded cheese fries, so we recommended she try the hog fries from Farmer & the Cow. They are loaded up with their cheese blend, pulled pork, bacon, bbq, scallions, and even flamin’ hot cheetos dust! Once featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, Farmer and the Cow is most known for their exquisite burgers, bourbon, and milkshakes.

Healthy

@cbalgobin was craving something healthy, so we recommended they stop by Green Box Kitchen for a boost. Voted top vegan restaurant in the state by Yelp, they have everything to nourish your body from highly praised acai bowls to pressed juices.

Sweet

@katie.doc.13 was craving a brownie sundae, so we recommended she get one from Sweet Nel’s. They serve natural, organic ice cream–perfect alongside a nice, warm brownie! In addition to ice cream, you can order online or in-person other cafe delights, from coffee to crêpes.
