With autumn right around the corner, WilmToday is your source for all fall events happening in the city of Wilmington.
September 9th “Save the Valley Music Fest” hosted by World Cafe Live at the Queen Theater
This fourth annual event raises money to protect and preserve the remaining open spaces in Beaver Valley that are located along the Brandywine River in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Featured acts include:
- Bronze Radio Return
- Vanessa Collier
- Wilmington’s own The Smashing Pearls
Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door.
September 10-11 Brandywine Festival of the Arts
Located in Brandywine Park, the art festival also includes local music and food. It is a Delaware tradition spanning over half a century and perennially ranks in the top 100 shows in the country.
September 19-24 The Polish Festival
Now in it’s 60th year, the Polish Festival brought to you by St. Hedwig Church. Is a fun-filled week of music, dancing, rides, games, food and drink, vendors and crafters. Bring the family Friday, September 23rd for fireworks on the Wilmington Riverfront!
