The Wilmington Blue Rocks are playing the Aberdeen IronBirds with a night that will be filled with fun, food, comic superheroes and fireworks…what a perfect way to kick off the long weekend!
The Queen has a live all ages show featuring Night Windows | Graduation Speech | Brian Mietz at 8pm, but they are also partnering with the Wilmington Brew Works Taproom, presenting Live & Local acts with Trolley Square’s favorite duo, Side Piece Acoustic Duo, starting at 6:30pm.
You can enjoy more live music at Constitution Yards with Kenny Don’t Play. Music starts at 7:00pm on the main deck. Enjoy some live tunes, great food, local craft brews, and yard games with your friends and family!

Spend the day, or just stop by, the Arden Fair & Antiques Market for their 116th year of children’s games and rides, handmade crafts by over 100 vendors, an Antiques Market, used books, plants, live music, delicious food, an art exhibit, and more. This year they are introducing a photographer for open portrait sessions. Don’t miss this special annual event.
If you are looking for more of a health and well-being focus this long weekend, have we got the thing for you! The Mt. Cuba Center is offering a one-hour Health & Well-Being Tour: The Benefits of Experiences in Nature to kick off your healthy habits.

Take a walk through Wilmington’s history during an in-depth, ninety-minute special guided tour from Hagley’s Visitor Center, leaving at 11am. Reservations recommended.
Not into history? What about nature, or fitness? Take a beautiful walk or run through Alapocas Run State Park and keep an eye out for small waterfalls and all types of wildlife!.
If a different type of stroll is what you have in mind, why not take a walk along the Riverfront, stopping for a drink or bite to eat at any of the many options to choose from!?
If you’re not ready for the weekend to end, you can always finish strong with karaoke at Bar XIII!
