Did you know 15 United States Presidents have Presidential Libraries? Presidential libraries are archives and museums, typically located in each president’s home state, that showcase documents, artifacts, and other objects from the president and their administration.

Discussions have begun about the possibility of a Biden Presidential Library, primarily where it should be located. The University of Delaware? Syracuse University? But the most agreed-upon spot happens to be our very own Wilmington!

This is a unique opportunity for Wilmington to create a landmark that celebrates President Biden’s legacy while contributing to revitalization. In recent years, Wilmington has undergone a huge transformation with major development projects in the works. The addition of a presidential library could be a fantastic attraction for the city.

Where should the library be located in Wilmington? Most people seem to agree that it should be housed in the Daniel L. Herrmann Courthouse paying homage to Biden’s early career as a public defender.

Ultimately, the decision of where to place the library is based on various factors, but let’s continue to vote for Wilmington!
