World Cafe Live is leaving the Queen Theater, but new management will keep it as a live music venue.
In the statement from John Rago, deputy chief of staff for policy and communications, “The Queen is NOT closing. To the contrary, it will be better than ever!”
There will be a final show (free show) on May 25 featuring “performances by many of the Brandywine Valley’s most cherished groups and performers” says Hal Real, president of World Cafe Live and Real Entertainment Group.
Besides concerts, the Queen also hosts events like weddings, TEDx Wilmington, Tech2Gether, the MidAtlantic Wine + Food Festival and the Buccini/Pollin group hosted the premiere of a local music video there in November.
